How common is it to be deaf in one ear?!
Question: I'm deaf in my left ear since birth and I have met others who are deaf in one ear.

I'm half deaf in my right ear.
But I'm grateful that I can at least hear :)

A girl in my art class in deaf in her left ear as well.. I guess it is pretty common! hmmm.. : )
I dunno about how common but i guess the more disease stricken and accident prone a locality is, the more common it would be in those parts.
My dad is deaf in one year because he had something called mums or something like that when he was a kid.
It's pretty cool being able to talk **** in front of him on one side =)
