Will heat affect Benadryl?!

Question: Will heat really affect Benedryl? Because I live in Florida and it gets to be 100+ degrees outside. So how do they expect people like me to keep it at 55-77 degrees in a place with a broken airconditioner.

High temp exceeding 110F will lessen the medication's effectiveness. But it will still have some effect.

fridge

it can depending on the form. keep it in ur fridge if you are worried about the heat.

Wow hard one. Fridge is too cold. I know if you take it the heat can affect you and cause you to overheat. I have done this before and have had severe cramping of the legs. Make sure you drink plenty of water.

yea, it will

Even if the air conditioner is broken room temperature may not get to 100 degrees or more, specially if there is ventilation. I would make sure to keep it someone cool, like a bathroom.

Don't worry, I live in Florida too and totally feel where you are coming from.

Also I would be afraid of the heat altering the chemical composition and stability of the benadryl IF it were to be left inside or a car or so.

The best way to figure this out is to read the labels on the Benadryl for most likely they will have some warning relating to its position on heat. But if there is no warning, just to be sure, you should keep it cool places rather than warm.

maybe put yor cabnet in the basement? whatever you do keep it out of your bathroom because what from the shower causes the medical ingredents to break down faster.

it can -read the directions and consult with your pharmacist. invest in an air conditioner and/or fan.
