There is a list here.

Although most people avoid foods high in cholesterol when their numbers get high like yours, many studies have show that eating cholesterol doesn't significantly increase it in our bodies. The real culprit is saturated fat! Our own livers make cholesterol out of saturated fat and that is what makes your number go up. So by lean meats and not fatty ones, don't buy snack foods that are high in saturated fat (check the labels). Cheese and dairy can be bad unless they are low-fat versions.

Also, eating good fats such as avocado, olives/olive oil, fish such as salmon, can help to bring your numbers down. The good fats actually sort of gobble up the bad ones in your bloodstream and bring your numbers down.

So I'd suggest buying fish, avocados, nuts and not buying fatty meats, high-fat cheeses and snacks.

Also Google cholesterol and you'll find tons of food lists and helpful suggestions.

Good luck!

Turkey ground beef instead of hamburger or the lowest fat hamburger. Skinless bone less chicken breasts. Salmon, tuna, fish. Fruits and veggies of course. Skim milk, low fat cheeses, whole wheat pasta, rice, bread, crackers, etc.

I'm not sure a list is what you need? It's like joining a gym. The easy part is the sign up. Call your doctor and ask him or her what they would recommend. Take two weeks of absolutely no cheating with a healthy diet and regular exercise. Read your food labels. If you don't know what it is, don't put it in your mouth. Time and Consistency is a Key to Success.

Don't eat too many fatty foods or foods that are high in oils because those contain too much fat also. Try and eat grains, such as oatmeal.

Best thing you can do: walk to the grocery store.

When there, avoid packaged and processed foods. Buy salmon, flax seeds, avocadoes, lots and lots of vegetables, brown rice.

Have fun.
