What are the best treatments for arthritis that don't involve IV drugs that !

Question: I take an NSAID (prescription strength Alleve also known as Naproxen twice a day in a 500 mg. pill). Also I take another pain pill twice a day that is not a narcotic twice a day, and extra strength Tylenol every 4 hours - maybe 2 or 3 times a day. I take hot showers at least 2 to 3 times a day. I'm going to start walking as the weather here in New England is finally warming up, and I'm joining a gym as soon as I can afford it they're all expensive in my town, one has a pool and it is really a lot to join. I plan to start yoga lessons as soon as I can to help too. What else can I do? This winter was bad - I got diagnosed at 19, it was bad for about 4 years after that - since last August it has been flaring up. I'm going to be 46 at the end of June any help would be appreciated... I have a rare form - it is not RA fortunately as I know how debilitating that can be. I take cod liver oil for Vitamin D to strengthen my bones too and Omega 3 capsules daily too along with Glucosamine....

Is yours related to auto immune disorder? If so I recently read some information that was released from medical studies regarding auto immune problems and gluten..the most recent study was using RA patients and a gluten free diet (since RA is certainly an auto immune process) and the trial showed good results. You should be able to google up info on the trial and also google up the specifics on how to do a gluten free diet...I know it is not the easiest thing in the world to do as it is restrictive. Also research Olive Oil and see what you think as it seems to do multiple things..not only for arthritis but has other health benefits. If you have auto immune problems read up on Night shade vegetables and see if you think any of that information might be applicable to you. I have had good result with Bee Venom as a pure salve--(purchased from the UK) used on a shoulder that had great inflammation. It's not that expensive and might be worth a try. Bee venom has been used for years...but as stings. This is a powerful salve that is pure in form and absorbed thru the tissue. You will be certain of it's strength if you have a minor scratch or cut. I found it does not help certain conditions like degenerative--but it did help my shoulder. So research Bee Venom and see what you think about that as well. Good luck!!!
