My belly button hurts!! why? (no piercings)?!
Question: I started feeling a little itch and some discomfort then i took a look at it and it has like a "canker sore". Why? it's medium size and it hurts just like a canker sore. I washed my navel with warm water and salt. I dont have pus but its a sore..why on the belly button?? thats weird! is this a deadly bacteria!!?? im so scared.

Use topical antibiotics on it...such as neosporin. If it doesn't go away, go see your doctor...it could be a bacterial, fungal or viral infection. The itchiness is a inflammatory response from your immune system, meaning your immune system is trying to fight off the infection.
