Is there anything over the counter i can take for a uti?!
Question: I am preg and have a uti every time i get another antibiotic that doesnt agree with me, is there anything over the counter that i can get? anything at all? i am so sick of being on meds that mess me up even more :(

My wife (ex-wife) use to drink cranberry juice and that seemed to work for her.
There are things like AZO that you could take to relieve the symptoms, if you weren't pregnant. However, if there is a bacteria in your urine, the only thing that will get rid of it completely is an antibiotic. You need to check with your OB/GYN, and possibly go to a urologist. Has the doctor cultured the urine to see what specific germ is in there, and what antibiotic will cover it? Please don't take anything withourt checking with a doctor first. You could really hurt the baby.
