Recurrent sinus infections?!

Question: My niece's husband has been having recurrent sinus infections for the past 2 years. They have tried pretty much every antibiotic, and none of them seem to do any good. He has seen an ENT, and had sinus surgery, but he still has infections. I had had the same problem myself, but mine cleared up completely after the surgery.
Anyone else had this experience and can give any ideas what else to try?
Thanks in advance.

I too have sinus problems for many years. The cure for me was not just antibiotics because there are different causes for sinus problems and antibiotics only treat one kind of infection. In my case I had sinus issues with an undetermined cause. I finally got the sick like symptoms and went to the doctor. He confirmed my sinus issues and gave me the strongest antibiotic they have for sinuses, amoxicillin. The doc said sinuses are tough to reach with antibiotics so I should start to feel relief in 3 to 5 days and I could stop taking the meds at 7 days if I wanted to. Since the sinuses are hard to reach I choose to take the full 10 day course. I actually did not start feeling decent relief until day 5 to 7. After this took care of bacterial infection I suspected I had something else going on because more problems persisted. My nose drainage became colored and like a thick mucus. In rare cases a fungal infection can also cause sinus problems and antibiotics will not touch that. I decided on home-type remedies to try to treat that. I bought something called Silver Sinus (search Google for it) to start with because I have had success before with it. The first time I used it is was like someone poured alcohol in my nose, but it felt good because it was instant relief. The whole day I had a sore throat because of the drainage but my nose felt much better. The next 7 days of using it resulted in no side effects except the sinus problems started to disappear. After 7 days I then started on a product called
