I've heard there is a disease that causes you immune to pain?!
Question: For a project for school we are researching different diseases Luckily for me all my teacher knew was it causes you to not feel pain.Basically you can get hurt alot and not feel it.Can anybody help me out here and give me a name? It would be a great help

It's called CIPA, Congenital insensitivity to pain with anhydrosis. Congenital means it's been there sinse birth, and anhydrosis means that they don't really sweat because they cannot feel heat either. It's can be caused by a mutated neural pathway, or by hypersecretion of certain endorphins.
