Pleural-Based Nodule in Lung?!

Question: Has anyone had any experience with something called a 'Pleural-based Nodule' in their lung ? I just had a CT scan which showed a 'tiny' pleural-based nodule in the lower posterior (back I assume) of my right lung. Yes, I smoke. I'm following up with the family Doctor of course, but also until then looking for information on what this is, or people who have had one. I know it's a 'growth' .. but is there more info on them?

Thank you in advance,
Mrs. B

Not a doctor here, but Plueral based, to me, means it is not so much in the lung but in the lining of the lung, the membrane that covers the lung. I had Plueral effusion, which was an accumulation of fluid between that lining and the lung.
