Why is that as soon as I take some time off work that I end up being ill?!

Question: Every time I take a few days off work, I end up with a sore throat, or a cold/cough - yet when I'm at work, although I may sometimes feel a bit under the weather, don't really feel ill - any reasons why this may be?
(I am off work for 3 days, and can hardly talk as my throat is so sore)

When you are at work you don't have time to be ill but as soon as you have a day off you relax and the germs come out.

Its the guilt from having time off it use to happen to me if I thought I would just take a day off cause I didn't want to go to work the next day I would be sick in bed with a migraine! I believe its something in your self conscience.

its sods law and it happens to alot of people.i had a week off the other month and ended up in bed most of the week due to illness.

Its called sods law
