All of a sudden after I had a speculeum put inside me (I don't know if it was sterilized) I have all these tiny red bumps in my pubic area and one really close to my labia. What the hell, has anyone had red bumps like this before. What could they be?

Get tested.
You can still get herpes from a symptomless carrier, and that's 100x more likely than catching anything from a smear test. They sterilise everything. Also, herpes does not show up right away; it could be the stress of the smear test that's brought on the outbreak, but it would be a sexual partner, not a doctor who has infected you.
you could be allergic or sensative to the lubricant that the doctor used on the speculum. you couldn't have gotten herpes from it--they are sterilized, but even if it wasn't the virus couldn't survive long enough to infect you.
You may have been allergic to the lubricant they used---just a thought. Call your doctor and tell them what is happening.
You are more likely allergic to something
MAYBE the anticeptic that the speculum was in? Lube? Latex?
You can NOT get herpes that way!
Besides herpes does not start as tiny red bumps - it starts out looking like a patch of small white blisters
