Is an antispasmodic medication right for me?!
Question: In stressful situations, my stomach tends to growl excessively and I read that this is caused by muscle spasms. The website noted that antispasmodic drugs can prevent this.
Is anyone here taking an antispasmodic medication for this reason, and if so, how well does it work?

I've been on antispasmodic meds for the past 2 years because of stomach pains (well, and diarrhea). They do wonders for me. It takes a while to find the right one that works for your system though. There are a few different medications out there that essentially do the same thing but work better for some people.
They are:
Bentyl
Lomotil
Dicetel
Donnatal
Levsin
Librax (this is a combo of a valium type and an antispasmodic)
Spasmonal
As you can see there are lots. The most common are the first two - Bentyl and Lomotil - and they both work great.
