It depends on what is causing your pinkeye; there are multiple known causes.
If your pinkeye is from allergy then it may depend on your environment. You might want to try to avoid places that make your eye irritated; it might not be easy to figure out what those places are.
If your eye is due to an infection of bacteria or virus, then you aren't doing anything to make it worse. In the bacterial case, there are prescription eyedrops that can help.
Don't rub it, it will spread infection to others and irritate your eyes. Put a nice warm wash cloth on it, that always made mine feel good.
There is nothing you can do to pink eye to make it worse - just get the medicine and clear it up and be happy it didn't come with a host of styes on your eyes.
Its really Not that big of a deal, the first persion that said it is actully right ;D Dont rub it, it will get more infected. Go to the Doctor and check it im sure they will give you something. ;D Good luck
i believe that it is a bacterial infection, so best to get some eye drops prescribed to treat it. otherwise it will get worse.
yeah, don't rub it, it'll feel worse. its highly contagious, best not to touch your eyes. if you touch your eyes, wash your hands.
I don't know if you still have pink eye, but if you do or get it again, keep yours hands washed regularly. Keep your hands away from your eyes. Apply cold compressions to the eye area. Pink eye is highly contagious so avoid shaking or touching peoples hands. I've never had pink eye but my brother has and he always goes to the doctor for antibiotics. There are differnt types of pink eye. Viral Conjunctivitis, Bacterial Conjunctivitis, and Allergic Conjunctivitis. Depending on which one you may have, you may need antibiotic eye medicine or drops. use your meds as prescribed ,dont touch or rub your infected eye,dont come i cotact with anyone as pink eye is very contagious.
WASH YOUR HANDS!!! Constantly... Keep your hands away from your eyes. See a doctor as soon as possible to get treatment started. That is state of the art for dealing with pink eye....
rubbing your eyes and touching them can make it worse, its an infection, so its best to get something to clear it up before it gets worse
I could list a hundred things that could make it worse, but I guess I will just give you a few of the basics. Don't miss any doses of the eye drops. You need the eye drops in order to get better. Don't wear eye makeup until you are through with your treatment. Don't rub your eyes, it will only irritate them, and they are obviously already irritated. Stay away from smoke, dust, and other eye irritants. Use warm water to gently remove any eye "goobers" that may form as a result of the pinkeye. Don't wear contacts until you get it cleared up, and make sure they are good and clean before you put them back in. Good luck!
