Oh my. Speaking from experience as someone with severe scoliosis and osteoarthritis, there is no reason for you to have to put up with that much pain. Talk to your doctor as soon as possible and ask them to help you create a pain management plan. If your doctor won't listen to you and help, find a doctor who will.
Also, in some cases, chronic pain can trigger chronic depression or anxiety. No, this doesn't mean you're going crazy. :) It's a biological fact. However, there is help for chronic pain related depression and anxiety. I take Cymbalta, for mine. Again, talk to your doctor. I am very glad I finally broke down and confessed how bad I felt -my doctor had no idea until I told him because I put up too good a front.
Hang in there! *hugs*
Severe pain accompanied with numbness or weakness of the limbs may be an indication for surgery.
Get a check up.
Good luck!
