Itchy Scalp While Excercising?!

Question: When I excercise, and I start to get hot and sweaty, why does my scalp get extremely itchy? It's almost like my scalp is allergic to my perspiration.

yeah i know the feeling. i get it too. feels so terrible. but sitting under the fan or cooling off helps reduce it.

guess it is the skin reacting to the perspiration.
