you need to wash it and pop it or go see a doctor and don't forget to antibiotic ointment on it after you wash and dry yourself
it is most likely a boil. I have had one before. you will need to get it lanced to get rid of it. if it is a boil after the lance it they will stuff it full of gaws and it will hurt like hell when you have to pull it out. type in boil in youtube they have some videos.
edit: dont pop a boil by yourself! it is caused by the staph bacteria in your blood go to a doctor.
Sounds like a cyst or an ingrown hair that has become infected. See a doctor, its not cancer but an infection can kill you faster.
