Question: Just found out I am AGAIN living in one of the top 10 cities for worst allergens. Are you ? And what have you found most effective to combat this misery, if you are a veteran of the pollen wars ? My nemesis - oak evidently. Yours ? Thanks in advance for your advice.----

Where I live, it's bad. I try to tak emy meds, and keep up with eyedrops... I also put warm cloths on my face,it helps break things up a little. It SUCKS! lol. I am allergic pretty bad to anything outside lol. And Cat...Ohhh Cats kill me...
I live in the boonies of Upstate NY. Goldenrod gets me big time! And lucky for me, there is a ton of it growing outside of my apartment. (Sniffle)
Claritin helps me a lot, but it is so costly that I usually go with a store brand, and it works just as well.
i live in england and i get those symptoms its pollen and tree pollen , get to the G.P. and get some anti-hestimine tablets it does help, poor you, hope your better soon.
My reactions aren't as strong as they used to be. But I have had my battle royals with hay fever. Around where I am, the main culprit is pine: There's enough pollen in the air to turn anything sitting outside yellow.
