It sounds like you have a boil. Do not try to pop a boil, as this will only make it worse, and cause it to get bigger, and be more painful. Try applying heat to it (just soak a wash cloth in very hot water) and let the hot cloth stay on the affected area for about 10 minutes a few times a day (morning/night), for several days or how ever long it takes for it to reduce in size/go away. Hydrogen Peroxide will also aid in healing it faster because it dries the boil out and also disinfects it.

I'll put in a guess. Are you prone to oily skin or acne? It could be a cystic pimple. It's not something that you can pop. In my experience, messing with it only makes it bigger, and it could last for over a month. Yikes.

It's probably a blind pimple that hasn't come to a head yet.

without seeing it it's hard to say but it sounds like a boil. I suggest you go to your doctor or even pharmacist and see what they say. If you want to try something else first witch hazel or even tee tree are great for things like that and then if that doesn't work after a week or so then you should get it looked at.

it could be your nerves. i used to get them when i got real upset over something. nothing you can do but let it go away on its own

it sounds to me like it is a boil - a really large pimple that can easily get infected. since there are so many tiny blood vessels in your face, i'd get this checked out by a doctor. don't touch it, don't try to pop it. try using astringent like witchhazel on it, but in addition to, not replacing, a visit to the doctor. good luck!

my mom gets those alot because of her oily skin its called a cystic go see a dermotolgist they will give you something..

oh an like any other pimple on your face stop touching it.. it will only make it worse!
