Why do chest infections/illnesses take SO LONG to heal?!

Question: My chest hasn't felt the same since 2006, and it seems like it's constantly got mucus, tightness, and just hasn't felt the same for a long time. I can almost smell the mucus, if I really try.

Does that mean that I probably had a bad bout of bronchitis or something really bad, and it made my lungs sore?

I got SO sick last year that I remember when I sneezed or coughed, I would almost have tears in my eyes, from the pain it would cause my chest to feel.

I literally felt my chest pang with sharp knife stabbing pains after every sneeze or cough.

Then it even gave me asthma problems!

I was never born with asthma, it just comes when I get sick really bad.

But I've been eating organic, taking vitamins, taking care of myself, took antibiotics, eveerything under the sun,

and I still can't bounce back 100%. At least my chest can. My whole body feels healthier, but my chest is still not good.

It's BETTER but...still feels sick.

Will it EVER get better? HELP!

surely you've seen a doctor --yes?

i used to get bad bronchitus and it would turn to pnemonia and then it seems i would habe chest colds sooften that would often turn to bronchtic stuff again, dunno if what you have is chronic problems or one problem that literally doesn't go away.

i moved to a warm ciry and quit smoking and that fixed that.

i've had other illnessed and pain that didn't go away for long periods of time too, and after antibiotics and other regiments, they would come back as pain but not show up as infections. a friends actually did an energu healing on me and i did a great deal of meditation obout letting go of the pain. and i actually got much better and stayed better.

i think when all else fails it cant hurt to look into holistic health stuff like energy healing and meditaion. there is probable the resources within your body to heal itself, and perhaps if you send your body the mesage that its; timeto do that that it will.

also---yeah---your lungs are deep down in there and it;s not like you can reach your finger in there w/ neosporin so they may very well take a long timeto heal.

also---polutants---cigarette smoke, or chemicals in your office, or rug shampoos, stuff like that could be agravating it. i would make a real assesment of your daily environment, and make sure your air is clean.

hope you feel better :)
