Worried about my boyfriend?!

Question: Alright, so my bf has this bump on the back of his leg...about six months or so ago you could only know it was there if you felt it (it was not visable) but just a few weeks ago, I noticed that I could see it. It's about the size of a small marble. I've been asking him to go into the doctor to have them look at it, and he always says he will. But recently he has been getting kinda mad at me for bringing it up (I don't mention it that often for it to be annoying him). The main reason why I am woried so much about it is that about 3 years ago he has a tumor on his back removed (it wasn't cancerous, but it could have turned into that, and it could have spread).
Now, I really want it to get looked at, but since like I said, he gets mad when I bring it up...I was wondering if I should go to his parents about it.

my husband has had cysts close to what your discribing if they get infected or burst on there own it can be very dangerous your very right to be worried and he's lucky to have someone like you who cares about his health he's scared thats why he's getting upset when you bring it up yes if he won't act like an adult and get it checked himself then you have to break out the big guns and tell his parents whats going on I think they will appreciate your concern for there son

you aren't tattling. you could be saving his life. if he doesn't want to cooperate with you then I would go with your idea and tell his parents while making sure he doesn't find out it's you. Please tell him/them. he will thank you for it in the long run. =] good luck.

I don't know if this is good advice for your relationship, but I think it's good advice for your boyfriend's health. Yes, I'd talk to his parents. I don't know how old he is, and that might make a difference, but yes, I'd talk to them, and ask them to please not tell him that they heard it from you. It's nice that you care.

As far as the flax goes, my own personal opinion is that this stuff is all good, but it's like you have to eat 12 bowls of Cheerios per day to get cholesterol lowering value. How much flax is he going to eat? and if, indeed, G-d forbid, your boyfriend has a tumor, I wouldn't want to depend on flax seed.

Good luck to him. He's lucky to have you.
