Light skinned with blue eyes puts you in the highest risk group for sunburn and skin cancer. The best way to avoid burning is to stay out of the sun. You arent going to tan you will burn. You will even burn on a cloudy day.If you want a tan get a spray tan as solariums are dangerous for skin cancer as well. You are not allergic to sun, you need some sunlight for vitamin D but excess exposure generally more than 10 mins will cause some damage. Wear sunglasses whenever you are outside to protect your eyes

You need to sit outside on cloudy days in order to tan up gradually. As far as being cold. Do you have low blood pressure?

I dont know but I have the exact same problem! I'm always cold and always getting sunburned, and my eyes are so sensitive to the sun. It's really annoying, because everytime I get burned to a crisp, people just tell me I must not be putting on enough sunblock. Yeah right! I hope you get a good answer.... sorry this doesn't help, although sometimes it helps knowing there is someone as frustrated as you!

An "allergy" to the sun would probably show up as a rash. Do you get rashes from being in the sun?

On a side note, I learned that when you go into the sun and sneeze, it was most likely because you were in a dark room.
Rapid dilation of the pupils causes sneezing!

I used to burn easy in my home town, but today I spent most of the day in the sun, not even a burn.
If you burn easy, stay in the sun less.
15-30 minutes at a time if you have to
Cause burns are pretty bad for you : [

Many of us are......especially us blue eyed fair skinned folks.
?????

It is possible, lots of people can't tolerate the sun for one reason or another.

You are very photosensitive; not allergic to the sun. My dad is allergic to the sun; it makes him break out in an itchy rash that lasts two weeks. Are you on the pill? It can make you more photosensitive. Extra vitamin A will help your eyes not be as sensitive to the sun. 10,000 IU per day will help.
