Help PLEASE..Lump ON jawline geting bigger?!
Question: I have noticed a lump on my jaw, on my jaw line going down under my chin towards my neck. I noticed it about 4 days ago and it has gotten bigger. at first it was only only the size of a pea on my jaw line but now it has gotten longer. it doesn't hurt but the skin is slightly red where the lump is. Any ideas on what it could be? I appreciate all your help. And thank you for your time

it sounds like you have a swollen lymph node. if you are exhibiting other symptoms, like fatigue and loss of appetite, possibly a fever and abdominal or back pain, you may have mononucleosis...you should go to the doctor to get a blood test and to rule out anything else...
It could be an abscess or boil, but I would think that would probably hurt more.
It could also be a cyst. I'm sure its nothing huge to worry about, but it probably would be best to have a doctor check it out.
