Question: I met a family recently whose teenage son suffers with Global Development Disorder ..... without providing all the usual Google references, can anyone please define what this is, what's the prognosis and what treatments/therapies are applied. my son has GDD it's where they have delay in everything in my son's case he has the language skills of a 7 month old he is 3 and a half now he doesn't understand language hardly at all he isn't potty trained, he cant ride a tricycle he can only push it, he can't do simple puzzles or name objects, he doesn't understand peoples feelings a few months ago he burned hiself on our fire place and didn't even react he can only walk up or down a few steps then he tries to crawl down or up he can't concentrate on anything longer than a few minutes I cannot take him anywhere and he has no concept of fear he is still being tested for possible autism if you need to ask something else feel free to email me.
