Unless you're lactose intolerant - I'm not sure what the cause would be. Sometimes if you're under the weather - drinking milk can upset the stomach. If the supplement your taking has magnesium in it...then too much magnesium can cause the runs.

Or sometimes there's an upset in the colon by having too much yeast. If you go to the health store - get some acidophillis. It will be stored in a cooler and you must keep it in the fridge. They are active enzymes that restore the good bacteria in the stomach and intestines. You can also find these enzymes in yogurt (especially pro-biotic).

(Milk itself isn't bad....it's the damn antibiotics they give to the cattle that goes into the milk. And antibiotics can get rid of the good bacteria - that's why it's recommended for people who are on antibiotics - take acidophillis or eat lots of yogurt).

There is no reason for a person to drink milk--its meant for calves for nourishment. We can get our nutrition from making nut milks, eating legumes as protein and veggies as calcium..its a myth and a sad one to promote the industry. Haven't you ever wondered why the dairy industry ads always have celebrity's? They are desperate, b.c more people are becoming vegans.

Maybe it's just a virus and nothing to do with the milk?

Yeah........it's the lactose in milk. You sound as if you are lactose intolerant. We all go through changes at various stages of our lives. Some people even become allergic to cows milk.
