Can mold/green stuff growing on the outside of a brick building harm?!

Question: We have had two deaths and one who is near death at this one story complex. Our tennants are in push chairs and quads so many are extremely susceptible to disease. Pneumonia is normal for many here. There is mold/green stuff growing on the side of the building. Could this be causing fatal problems? Is there a way that somebody can anonymously have the health department check it out? We just cannot risk management knowing one of us reported it or they will find an illegal way to get us out. We love our home and do not want to move. Any advice?

Molds can cause problems with the respiratory system that can lead to death. One way to have this reported or investigated is to go to your doctor and tell them that you are worried about this. Tell him your situation, and ask if s/he could call the health department to have the complex investigated. Then it wouldn't come from you.
