Dear Jemma,
May I know, how old are you now? Is your parents or grandma/grandfather have a diabetic disease?
Diabetes mellitus is a condition in which the pancreas no longer produces enough insulin or when cells stop responding to the insulin that is produced, so that glucose in the blood cannot be absorbed into the cells of the body. Symptoms include frequent urination, lethargy, excessive thirst, and hunger.
Urine and blood tests can be used to confirm a diagnose of diabetes based on the amount of glucose. Urine tests can also detect ketones and protein in the urine that may help diagnose diabetes and assess how well the kidneys are functioning. These tests can also be used to monitor the disease once the patient is on a standardized diet, oral medications, or insulin.
Diabetes can be reduced by maintaining ideal weight and exercising regularly. The physical and emotional stress of surgery, illness, pregnancy, and alcoholism can increase the risks of diabetes, so maintaining a healthy lifestyle is critical to preventing the onset of diabetes and preventing further complications of the disease.

Ok Jemma, I hope you will glad with my answer. Please see the doctor for check up your urine and blood examination.
Takecare....
Sincerely,
Anasthasia Pride

The only way to be sure is to see a doctor and have your blood sugar tested.

Those symptoms could be lots of things.

frequent urination is only one sign of diabetese, you did not mention anything about being thirsty, but if you are at all concerned by all means get tested which is a very simple process. both my son and my husband have diabetese and with proper diet and (if necessary) medication it can be managed quite easily but if left untreated many serious issues can arise. get tested--better safe than sorry

It also sounds like you might be pregnant, dont ya think??

Go see a doctor immediately and ask him / her to test your blood sugar.

The most common and obvious sign of diabetes is excessive urination. The word diabetes comes from a Greek word meaning "a siphon" So if you know you are suddenly urinating an excessive amount you need to get your blood sugars checked.

And if that is related to your problems with vision and tiredness ... that is a sign of very high blood sugar. I don't know anything about you, but assuming you are young it could most likely be type 1 diabetes. Type 1 comes on fast and can quickly become a life-threatening condition if it doesn't get treated.

Of course, I'm not a doctor, so this is not a diagnosis :o) But your symptoms lean so strongly towards diabetes that it would be irresponsible of me not to urge you to get to the doctor right away.

Good luck, and please feel free to email me if you want

--edit--

OMG ... I just noticed you said you're eating a lot, which is another obvious symptom of diabetes, but more importantly that you're getting sick to your stomach. Getting sick to your stomach with all those other symptoms probably means ketoacidosis ...which is immediately life threatening. If you are actually having all those symptoms, I urge you to go to the hospital NOW. It's very serious, if you do have ketoacidosis they may put you in intensive care until your blood sugars are under control.

Again, go to the hospital NOW.

You can check your blood sugar level. And you should also test your urine. Glycouria is the first signs of diabetes.Diabetes has three symptoms: urinating a lot, drinking a lot, and losing weight. If you have diabetes, you may also eat a lot. you can confrim by sugar level in your blood and urine. It is the best way to diagnose diabetes. Diabetes patient also has fainting attack. You should discuss with your family doctor.

Go see a doctor. These symptoms can be signs of several different things....

hi this could b lots of things including a water infection my suggestion is to go to docs who will b able to tell u one way or another
