A Mole Question?!

Question: I have a mole in the middle of my chest and another slightly higher. My school formal (prom) is coming up and I've fallen in love with a dress, the dress however exposes these two moles and I was wondering if there is a temporary way to cover them up, just for that night. If not, then I may get them removed (seems painful though), how long will it take for my skin to return to normal once I have had the mole-removal done?

Also, is it true only the bumpy moles can be cancerous?
I have another mole which has bleed once when I accidentally scraped it. Another mole has white specs, like a tiny little white dot on it, does this mean anything?
None of my moles have grown in size but a lot of them are 'bumpy' and I'd like to get them removed, but I'm scared it will hurt and scar.

Getting moles removed, which you can do whether or not they are suspicious if you are willing to pay the bill yourself, won't hurt. It is done under a local anesthetic. But it will leave a scar and it will take a few weeks to heal completely. Definitely get a dermatologist (not a GP) to check them so you can have peace of mind about them.

I would definitely get your moles checked out by a doc asap. They don't sound normal, but it could just be nothing. Get them checked just in case.

if you're prom is within a week or two then there's nothing you can do but get another dress. but if it's like three weeks then get a surgeon who can operate well and it wil take 2 1/2 weeks to heal completely. and if it's two small moles just wear the dress
