It depends on the heart condition. Weight lifting could kill some people.
Typical instructions are to limit yourself to walking, if you cannot carry on a normal conversation while walking, you are going too fast.
My doctor limits me to lifting a maximum of 10 lbs and a pulse rate of 110.
His doctor should give him his limits.
Depending on the heart problems....the person would benefit by walking everyday. Lifting is not a good thing for people with heart problems. Walking...swimming...things like that are good.
in heart disease heavy exercise must be avoided as weight lifting.. mild exercises r suitable & helpful.. as walking,,
