What is end stage diabetes?!

Question: Hi Mate, diabetes is NOT curable. But can be controlled to live a happy life. The major issue needs to be seen in diabetics is Microalbuminuria. It occurs when a malfunctioning kidney leaks small amounts of albumin into the urine. In other words, there is an abnormally high permselectivity for albumin in the renal glomerulus. And increasing microalbuminuria level during the first 48 hours after admission to an intensive care unit predicts elevated risk for acute respiratory failure , multiple organ failure , and overall mortality. Pls check with your doctor for further help! Dont get confused!

it is when the diabetes has caused lots of irreparable damage to your body. not good!

When the patient is in respiratory and renal failure. The end is not far off.

I've never heard of such a thing. Complications from diabetes might cause end stage renal failure, but diabetes, in and of itself is not fatal.
