I have an odd red patch on my ankle?!
Question: it is not really a rash, and not a scar. I have an appointment with a dermotologist, but the earlyest appointment I could get isin 2 months from now. I had it for almost a year, but ti just recently started to itch/burn but not all the time. Also, I just noticed a little tiny red circle on my arm that is just like the patch on my ankle. Any one have any ideas on what it could be?

well at least it doesn't seem like a STD. but it could be skin cancer. i'm NOT a doctor, but maybe google your symptoms and see if the match up to something. you should never come to your own diagnosis though... definitely need the derm. maybe your doctor can refer you to a out-of-the-area derm who can see you sooner? might need to drive an hour but at least you're not waiting 2 months.
might be ring-worms. get some blue star ointment and apply 2 or 3 times a day.
also, call your doctor's office, talk to his nurse, tell her the dr. wanted you to see dermatologist and have her to call and make you an appoint asap. maybe that way you can get in faster.
