What are the signs of infection?!

Question: I have a 2nd degree burn on my hand. There were three blisters which have burst leaving raw exposed skin.
What signs of infection should i look out for?
I have strep throat which caused my tonslitus...could this get in the wound and cause infection? I also have thrush form the amount of antibiotics ive been prescribed...could this cause infection?
It doesnt look infected but my hand feels stiff but i think this might just be because its burnt.

For the burn, go to your doctor and ask for a prescription for a silver/sulpha cream that you can put on the burns. I have used it before, and it is a great bacteria killer. If you get it, put it on the bandages, and then cover the burns with the bandage. It really works great. My scalding was extensive, but I could see the new skin growing from day to day, this compound is that good at stopping infection. Even though you may be on antibiotics, I would still ask for the cream I just mentioned, With the antibiotics, you can pretty much forget about infection. With the drugs in your blood stream, bacteria stands little chance of growing, unless it is a super bacteria, which there are some of them around. Those, however, tend to kill in about 3 or 4 days, or less. I would advise getting the sliver/sulpha drug for the burns. Extra protection never hurts.

it should not affect the burn
infection is red, swollen or might have yellow or green drainage

Don't worry so much. If your hand becomes infected, it will turn red, itch or hurt, and smell.
Find out how to disinfect a 2nd degree burn. do you need to cover it to keep germs out?
thrush won't cause an infection, only bacteria will do that.
There is bacteria everywhere.
So ring a nurse.
