"Nitroglycerin 0.2 mg/hr TD QDAY" what does the TD mean?!

Question: I am not sure what "hr" means but TD could be that it was meant to be TID which is 3 times a day ,everyday. Nitroglycerin extended-release tablets and capsules are usually taken three to six times a day.
The sublingual tablet are used as needed to relieve chest pain that has already started or to prevent pain before activities known to provoke attacks . So technically the " hr" could actually be PRN ( as needed).
You are to take 1 tab , if chest pain not relieved in 5 minutes, take another if not relieved in 5 minutes take a 3rd one.
However this medication is very serious and can be very harmful if not taken right. So please before you take it clarify it with your doctor.

(This is in response to your deleted question in optical.)

OU means both eyes.

TD=tablet daily...Are you sure that 0.2 mg/*hr*?

I have a prescription for Nitrodure which is a nitroglycerin patch. It is NITRO-DUR DIS 0.2 MG/HR. I put on in morning and take off at bedtime.

In the hospital they put some kind of nitro goop on me and put a bandage over it.
