Why does it feel so much better once you squeeze a whitehead?!
Question: Totally gross, I know. But I'm just curious. I usually take a hot washcloth to it and squeeze all the nasty out until it bleeds, then it scabs over and heals. But once I squeeze it all out, the pain goes away almost instantly. Whiteheads are like infections, right? Can anybody give me more info?

Yes, whitheads are little infections and are sore because the white blood cells rush to the infected area to try and fix the problem...but thy make it kind of sore in the process!
