It sounds like your daughter may have atopic dermatitis which has all of those characteristics. Is her ear lobes cracked at all or the skin around the ear cracked? This is also a common sign. If I was you I would take her to your ped dr. or a dermatologist they will be able to help!

I agree 100%

Have you changed detergents or is she on an antibiotic? It sounds like an allergic reaction to something. Has she eaten anything new lately? Just go down the list of new things that have occured and eliminate it. Most likely it is the detergent or medicine.

it also could be psorsasis which could be just attacking some of the visable parts. if she develop a white snow flake like covering then you will be in deep trouble with this crap both physically and emotionally for you and even more for her youu really can not tell because the t-cell from the immune system are causeing this problem because the brain is send a message stating that there is some thing wrong so becareful

i have psorasis on my ears to

I get tiny itchy red spots when I wear a belt with a silver buckle. The spots occur on my tummy where the buckle is touching my skin. It is contact dermatitis. The only solution is not wearing the belt.

Perhaps your daughter is allergic to something that has come into contact with the skin on her cheeks.
