Is it safe for unprotected sex if STD tests are negative?!

Question: my girlfriend and i have been having sex for 2 months, and one month of unprotected sex because she is now on the pill. i recently "heard" that a girl i had sex with before my girlfriend and i started dating had chlamydia at some point. the girl was not 100% positive if she had it or not but my girlfriend and i thought it best for me to get tested. i got tested for both chlamydia and gonorrhea and the results came back negative for both. is it safe to still have sex without a condom since we know i am clean? and my girlfriend lost her virginity to me so i know already that she is clean and i know that she is faithful

I would say for it to be completely safe you both should get tested for all stds. Especially since you have been sexually active in the past. You should get a Herpes type 1 and 2 test, she should get screened for HPV (through a pap) and then there are of course Syphilis, Hepatitis B and C oh and HIV. So once you both can say without a doubt that you both are completely free and clear. Then thats when you have sex without a condom. Still you can only be sure of your actions not your partners. Therefore in the world we live in today it just is not worth risking it. Granted you are most likely young and most of these things probably aren't much of a reality to you, they should be. This is your life and health we are talking about. Don't take a chance on it. Use a condom every time.

It is safe for you to have unprotected sex with your girlfriend if you were tested and you came up negative for gonorhhea or chlamydia but if you want to be safe anyways then wear a condom especially if you dont want to risk a pregnancy!! hope that i could help

If you've had sex with partners before your current girlfriend who were sexually active before dating you, it is possible you could be a carrier for HPV. There are two types of HPV, the type that cause genital warts, and the type that cause cirvical cancer in women. It would be the second one you would want to worry about, because you could be a carrier and not show any symptoms. Of course, condoms offer little protection from HPV, so its really up to you.
