I watched the 60 minutes article. The idea that this could cure all types of cancer is certainly hyperbole. This machine and technique has significant potential for solid tumors. Only time will tell if the nanoparticles will treat tiny cancer particles as well as it treats solid tumors. Like Leslie Stall, having already lived through many "cures for cancers" I'd be happy if this just turns out to be an effective new tool for treating some types of tumors, like the cyberknife - maybe only better and with more uses.

Time will tell. The fact that MD Anderson has one of the machines and is testing it means that scientists are taking this devise seriously and if the potential is really there we will all know about it soon enough. Contrary to the conspiracy theorists, MD Anderson is not in on the plot to withhold successful treatments in order to make more money.

no

Oh, I saw this last night. It has already cured cancer in rats. It is so exciting to have something else to try instead of all the chemo.

What can it hurt to try...is the way I feel about it.

only time will tell.

I think he has found a cure that the medical society doesn't want out.

Think about it.... how much does your doctor make just on a office visit? How much money does your doctor spend on his house.... Cancer is a billion dollar business. Why does any of the medical society want this type of cure... they won't benefit from it.

Someone will pay this man off and this machine will be history.

It's possible
