I am so sorry to hear about your boyfriend. As long as the doctors say it is ok for you to do this I don't see why not. Wow, what a kind, unselfish act you are doing---I think it's beautiful. Remember, prayer is a powerful thing. Good luck to you both.
GERD (gastro eshophageal reflux disease) is not life-threatening by itself. I have it. I take Nexium every day, and life is good. Who in the world told you that he's going to die or that GERD is terminal??? All GERD is is excessive heartburn!

GERD, when treated properly, is hardly a life threatening disease, and can be controlled with medication. So I don't think you need to worry about him dying from it. And I think using that as a reason for having a baby is a very, very bad idea.
wow i hope that everything is ok and that he does not have this awful disease. it would be extremely difficult for you to watch him dying and carry his child. also you would then be a single mum which would be hard especially as you be grieving. just my opinion.
In my opinion....
Having a child in order to have a part of your boyfriend after he dies is selfish and unfair to the child.
And VERY sad if he dies after the child is born.
A child should never have to go through the loss of a parent.
Its hard enough on the adults..I can only imagine how hard it is on the child.
