MY legs itch so much it's unbearable!?!

Question: MY legs itch so much it's unbearable!!?
I have extremely ichy legs!! For 2 years now!. Shaving is a huge pain, because afterward my legs ich so much, it's too much!! I've tried changing razors!.!.!.EVERything!.!.!.but nothing works!. My ritual lately, has been scratching my legs profusely in the shower and then putting the water as hot as it gets and putting my legs in it!. THIS is the only thing that soothes it! NO cremes work!. I've used over the counter cremes that cost me like 12 dollars for like nothing!. And the only thing that kind helped was Aveeno!.!.!.but not even because after the soothing, my legs started iching like crazy again!. I also have M!.S!., last December I had a relapse and I was on corticosteroid steroids till February!. Ironically this stopped the leg iching!. Which made me realize that I think I need antibiotics!. What the heck is this!?! HELP! I dont think it's just "dry skin"!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hey hun,
If the cort/steroids helped, you may have a form of eczema, which can only be helped by those, or a topical version or them!. Some people have incredibly sensitive skin, and steroid topical ointments can be the only way the feel relief!. Another option is to try Lucas PawPaw ointment, it's sticky, but it really helps, and can be used by people with even the most sensitive skin!Www@Answer-Health@Com

see a dermatologist about it!.!. i had a problem similar to that earlier this year!.!. my legs would itch really bad all night long and get all red!.!. i started using lotion and i guess it helped because it stopped!. i dont know if that was any help!? ha sorryWww@Answer-Health@Com

It was not ironic that the steroids stopped the itching, that is what is prescribed for eczema!. Why do you think you need antibiotics!? Steroids are not antibiotics, they are antiinflammatories!. See a dermatologist and ask about a steroid lotion, I was given one when I was first diagnosed with eczema!. It would be easier to spread than a cream over your legs!. The only thing you have to watch is, you can't use them all the time, I was told 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, because they can cause serious complications!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
