Question: Trichomoniasis Question!.!.!.!?

Do they do a blood test or do you need a viginal exam done to detect the disease!? Also, could this cause infertility or a factor in not being able to become pregnant!? Thanks =]Www@Answer-Health@Com

A vaginal exam is required as TV is detected by microscopy!. A swab is taken from the vagina, set onto a plate and looked at under microscope!. Diagnosis is based on visual confirmation of trichomonas!.

Trichomonas is not thought to affect fertility or pregnancy in any way, and is simple to treat and erradicate!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
