Is this an "eating disorder"?!
Question: Is this an "eating disorder"!?
To not eat for a couple weeks at a time, and then start to eat something for a few days, then stop eating again for a few weeks again, etc!.
obviously it's not normal, but is it a disorder that has a name or something known among people!?
i'm not asking from experience, i'm just curious since we're talking about eating disorders in one of my courses!.

The thing about eating disorders is that they don't follow a definite formula!. If I had to classify it, I would say it's binge Anorexia!. It's Anorexia Nervosa, with periods of binging!. If this is partnered with purging then it can be classified as Bulimic Anorexia!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's not possible to not eat for more than a few days!. Even if it were your body would be driven to find food - it's when your basic instincts kick in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Probably!. Some people like to fast once or twice a year because they think it's healthy so unless it's a shortlived thing it's probably an eating disorder!. If it's not choosing to fast like that is unhealthy anyway and it screws up your body's metabolism, so either way its a bad idea!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Anytime someone deprives themselves of food, it's an eating disorder called Anorexia!. There are all different types of people so anorexia is a little bit different for everyone!. I had a friend with this problem 10 years ago!.!.!.!.she ended up dying as a result of the disease when she was only 27 years old!. Her doctor told me that she had the heart of a 90 year old woman!.
