Can I go back to work with seizure?!

Question: Can I go back to work with seizure!?
Answers:
have a doctors note saying you have seizures!. if you do not work with heavy equipment or in dangerous situations why not!. just don't jeopardize your fellow workers by not taking your meds or hiding the fact that you have a problem with seizures!.Remember you have to notify the registry of motor vehicles about your seizures - if you don't the doctor will!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sure, seizures don't prevent you from living your life!. One thing to be absolutely sure of is whether you are allowed to drive!. Legally MD's are required to report to the DMV any persons who have a seizure condition that are still actively having seizures!.

If you are on medication and haven't had a seizure in a certain amount of time then you can get permission to drive!.

The major issue is whether you know what caused your seizure, and what you do to prevent them!. If your seizure condition is well controlled (even well controlled people still have seizures) then you should be able to return!. I wouldn't advise you to go back to work if you are a bus driver or do anything else that can instantly hurt others if you seized!.

I would also let a close friend/coworker know about your condition (DOES NOT HAVE TO BE THE BOSS) That way in case you do have a seizure they know what to do, who to call and what to tell the paramedics!.

Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Of course! make sure everything is all set with dmv if your neurologist reported it!. the last time I had seizures it was 3 months before I could get back in the car!. ultimately it was a year because I couldn't get my seizures under control!.
through the whole thing i was in college, and everyone was very supportive!.

Tell those that you are comfortable with about your seizures and if they should call anyone if you were to have one!.
Legally you can't be fired from your job because it's considered a disability!. so if you are comfortable still doing what you use to do good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
