COPD or emphysema are both chronic lung diseases which are eventually fatal, however, some people live with these conditions for 10-20 or more years!.
Sarcoidoisis, cystic fibrosis, black lung, lung cancer, are also chronic possibly terminal diseases!.

no one's gonna give a serious number of months if it's not terminal cancer of the lungs for the average length of life, they'd be sued if too short or too long
