When you rub your hands together, it causes friction!. Friction is the rubbing of two objects against each other when one or both are moving!. When you rub your hands together, the friction causes heat!. You know how to light a match!? When you rub it against the rough edge of the matchbox, the match lights!. This is because the roughness of the match against the roughness of the box cause friction whe rubbed together!.
