Should I Give My 15 month old daughter A Over The Counter Allergy Medicine?!

Question: Should I Give My 15 month old daughter A Over The Counter Allergy Medicine!?
My daughter is 15 months old!. Her nose has been runny for the past three weeks or so!. I believe she has hay fever because the (snot) mucus is yellowish and sometimes alittle bit green!. I do my best to clean her nose and basically comfort her with her allergies!. I thought about buying a over the counter allergy medicine for her but I am afraid it might make her too dorsy or even worse!. I scheduled a doctor's appointment for her but it is until May 3rd and I want her to be free of her allergies!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It could be an infection, in which case you'd need to be seeing a doctor (soon, not in a week or two)- OTC medicine could mask the symptoms, but allow the infection to progress!. Be safe, rather than sorry- if her pediatrician decides it's not an infection, simply ask for his/her recommendations re acceptable medication!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I checked my bottles of children's over the counter allergy medications, one says consult your doctor for children under 6 years and the other the age is 2 years!. I definitely wouldn't give to her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

NOOOO!. Make sure you always contact a doctor when dealing with childrens health!. Children are not like adults, they get sick easily!. Just take your child to a doctor!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. Green snot is a sign of an infection!. Take your daughter to the pediatrician!. They should see her sooner if you tell them you suspect she has an infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I really think you should consult a doctor!. Maybe there is a walk-in clinic that you can go to but I would say no!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
