Answers:
I suffer from anxiety and panic and my heart rate can get very high (I am 22) I understand how you feel I have had heart rates 140-170 for 2-4 hours at a time and its very scary and uncomfortable!.

if you are against medication , I would recommend speaking to your doctor again (it cant hurt to make sure your heart is fine) And then I would recommend learning Deep Breathing and Progressive muscle relaxation or Maybe Mediation!. These are things you can do yourself to calm and relax your mind and your body

It wouldn't be the first time a young man's chest pain was ignored because he was "too young" to have heart problems!.

I am not trying to scare you, but!.!.!.
IMPORTANT: It is NEVER normal to have chest pain associated with a HIGH heart rate, especially if you weren't doing anything the bring it on, like physical activity or drugs!.

Young people can have various problems with their hearts that are easily treatable!. Healthy hearts can still have electrical problems!.

These associated signs and symptoms are other warning signs that the problem is not muscular in origin:
dizziness, nausea, vomiting, fainting, visual disturbances, difficulty breathing, unusual sweating,Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have received really good advices!. I only want to suggest investigations for thyroid function!. Next, it will help to know what is your resting pulse rate!. Even non-cardiac pain can increase the heart rate to the level you are experiencing!. I am also in favour of a full investigation to rule out heart problem, but in my heart I don't feel it may be because of that!.
Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
