Question: Throat or lung issues!?!?
I have no idea what I have going on!. I have seen doctor after doctor now for nearly a year!. I have a thick, slimy mucus that is constantly in my throat!. I feel like I always need to spit, which I cant do at work, so I use a papertowel, or refrain from it while there, but when I leave, it's even worse as it has had to just sit dormat all day!. Doctor's have said it was acid reflux and put me on meds for that!.!.!.no luck, sinus issues and had antibiotics, sinus rinses, saline mist, steaming water inhaled, meds for that, mucinex ( I should own the company now) and tons of water!. I have had chest x-rays, barrium swollow, larynoscopy, ct scan!. The ct scan did show a blockage in my sinus but no doctor has suggested anything for that!. I am fed up with it!. I no longer date, go out, it's ruining my life!. I had a doctor literally make fun of me for it!. I know it might sound stupid, but I'm lost on what to do as it drives me nuts!. Does anyone have any idea what it might be, or what I could use!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds more like a respiratory issue to me, rather than GERD or sinus issues!. Have your doctors ordered a chest x-ray!? Constant phlegm and mucous in the throat sounds like one of the main symptoms of COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)!. This is where the bronchioles of the lungs are constricted and the cilia (tiny hairs that work to move mucous out of the lungs) aren't working properly!. If you smoke or have lived around smokers or live in a highly polluted are, or even work around chemicals or other pollutants, then you are at risk for COPD!. How awful for you!. Personally I would quit taking all the medication!. Get allergy tested!. It could be something in your enviroment!. Seek homepathic remedies!. Be diligent and take care of yourself!. Be positive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I know this is a basic question, but sometimes doctors can't see the trees for the forest!. Have you been tested for Cystic Fibrosis or IPF Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis!? Mucus in the lungs and throat are a main symptom of both of these!. Because you are not a child, they could miss the CF diagnosis!. IPF is rare, and only a good pulmonolgist might make the connection!. If you are in Seattle or can get to Seattle, the best IPF/CF pulmonologist in the world is at University of Washington Medical Center, His name is Dr, Ragu!. He totally rocks!.
