Parents and other family think I am diabetic?!
Question: Parents and other family think I am diabetic!?
Lately I have been very shakey and I get light headed alot and dizzy!. My family thinks that I might be diabetic!. And it is in my genes because my dad and my grandma are diabetics!.
What are some symptoms of being a diabetic w/o the medicine and treatments and stuff!?

I'm not sure about the symptoms, but I have the same concern for myself!. Diabetes is in my family too!. I noticed that I'd feel hung-over in the morning after eating a bowl of ice cream, and there were times when I felt dizzy at the weirdest times, so I cut back on my sugar, exercised more, and went into my doctor, who tested me and said I was fine!. But, either way, I knew how I felt!. He didn't!. Since then, I've all but completely cut out processed sugar, I exercise most days, and I'm fine!. Red meat and alcohol, I've read are foods that are bad for diabetics and I also avoid them just because!. Either way, drink lots of water, exercise, and eat healthy!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

originally, they thought i might've had it, because i went to the bathroom a lot, but i don't!.
so symptoms that i know of are:
frequent bathroom uses
being shaky because of loss of sugar
the best thing to do would be to go to the doctor and check your blood sugar with the machine thing (i forgot what it's called!)
i hope you don't get it!.!.!.that would be terrible :(
the best way to prevent it is to eat healthy, exercise as much as you can, and be confident in yourself :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You certainly could be but the only way to find out is get tested!.
