What should I do about these pesky plantar warts?!

Question: What should I do about these pesky plantar warts!?
This is the second time these warts have showed up and in the exact same place, which is right under my piny toe!. The first time, at the end of Janurary, they lasted about a month then went away on their own!. This second time, I have had the warts for about 2 months!. I have already had 2 rounds of liquid nitrogen, which only gave me blisters and did nothing for the warts!. These warts are very painful, and are deep into my skin!. If I even step the wrong way they hurt!.

Is it time for me to go another route, ie surgery, or should I keep trying the liquid nitrogen treatments and hope they work!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have to tell Blondie, you don't get plantar warts on your fingers!. Plantar refers to the sole of the feet!. My daughter had this problem and the only way the doctor could get rid of them is by removing them!. She was only a teen at the time and they gave her a lot of pain so the only recourse was surgery!. They never returned!. All warts are caused by a virus and no medication can kill a virus!. they haven't invented one yet that can!. You will have to see a Podiatrist and I'm sure he will tell you the only way to get rid of them is by removing them!. Unless they have developed something to dissolve them since my daughter had hers!. That was 20 yrs ago!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

I had them on my finger and the only thing that worked was serveral treatments of liquid nitrogen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's caused by a virus!. You have to have the doctor take care of them!. If you don't, they will spread, and the ones you have will bore deeper into your foot!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have one on my thumb and have been using black electricians tape fully covered and as tight as I can without losing circulation!. You can actually FEEL the wart losing oxygen (it hurts a little when you first apply the tape but that will go away) anyways, It will start to turn blackish and as long as you keep it up (which can take a while but its worth it) it will die and fall off!. I tried the stupid liquid nitro stuff way too many times to no avail but the tape (duct-tape works too) is cheap and really works!. I know its not the same as one on your foot but its worth a shot!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try Dr!. Scholl's Clear Away wart remover!. Leave the strip on at all times, it should clear in a couple of days!. It contains salicylic acid, which kills the wart and a little bit of the skin surrounding the area!. You can also scrape off any dead skin that is left off around the area!. Once the wart has been removed, avoid sharing shoes and socks with other people, and always wear shoes in public lockers and pools!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
