If you live within a couple miles you may need to worry about ground water, if you are on well water!. Beyond that, its not a whole lot!. Typically all the trash is buried each day!. And the bottom and sides have to be lined according to certain standards!.
Depending on where you are, in the US, this should be regulated by either the DEP or the health department!. They should be able to give you the specifications, and scores of the last inspection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
