Crucial question! whats wrong with me!??!

Question: Crucial question! whats wrong with me!!?!?
i used to contract acute asthma back when i was small!. eventually it stopped when i reached puberty or so, when i was like 13 yo!. and after tht i was leading a healthy life, no spores or dust or cold drinks or citrusy fruits seem to bother me!. but then, last week when i was out camping in the woods, the worst had happened!. i had a severe asthma attack after more than 4 years of being free frm asthma!. but i must say it is not as chronic as it used to be!. a small dose of cold tablets cured it in an instant!. but whats worrying is tht my asthma attack seems to recur rather often after tht incident!.

my question is, is there a need to be worried!? is my asthma problem coming back and here to stay!? what course of immediate action should i take to suppress this issue!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The biggest misunderstanding that people have is that you can 'out grow' asthma!. This is patently untrue!. You had a peroid during which you body was growing and changing!. Because of this and the hormones circulating the asthma which is a life long condition lessened in severity!. Now that it flaring up again you need to get an appointment with a doctor that specializes in pulmonary medicine!. In addition, I recommend a full pulmonary function test to get a baseline of your lung status!. Do make sure that you make a list of the symptoms tha ttake it with you when you go to the the doctor!. Also, be sure to get a prescription for a rescue inhaler and spacing chamber so that you have that in place and don't have to rely on cold medicine next time you have an attack!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think the most important thing for you to remember is that you will always have asthma!. There was a lucky period when it backed off for awhile, but it showed back up!. Just act as if the next attack is right around the corner, that way you will never be with out you lifesavers!.

Hmmm!.!.!.!. THE moment you have an aSthma, it'll never be cured really!.!.!.!. All you have to do is to stay away from dusts because they contain allergens that triggers ASTHMA ATTACK!. You have to consult a PULMunologist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have two children who had RSV as babies, and I have allergy-induced asthma and a very strong tendency to get things like bronchitis and walking pneumonia!. (RSV causes children to end up with things like respiratory infections, pneumonia, asthma, etc!.) Here's something that was explained to me by the pediatrician: once there is any type of infection and/or asthma "flare-up" in the lungs, it weakens them!. For some time, thereafter, there will be more frequent attacks, etc!. until the lungs regain their strength!. It's important to avoid triggers and illnesses for a while!. I have found that, even though I hate using my inhaler, it is important to go ahead and treat the asthma with it!. The more I just "deal with it", the more I cough!.!.!.!. and, therefore, the weaker my lungs get!.

So, take care of yourself!. It should at least calm down, but it might take a few weeks!. When it does, it's a good idea to make a habit of getting some daily exercise to keep your lungs strong!. Don't go crazy, and bring on more asthma attacks!. But moderate exercise is actually good for it!. Swimming, especially, is highly recommended for strengthening an asthmatic's lungs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
